Q: What do the differnant color footprints mean?

A1: They all have the same color...probably you were looking at the footprints that you haven't passed by yet.

A2: I believe black means a fresh footprint and orange means that is old.

A3: If you look on the map, you may see brown and orange footprints. I think the brown ones are the female's footprints, while the orange ones are the male's

A4: Black=fresh,Orange=old

A5: The orange footprints are from the legendary animal you are trying to kill and the black footprints are from the same species of the legendary animal just not the legendary animal

A6: The highlighted orange tracks are the routes that they normally take while the black tracks are the fresh tracks that don't really mean anything.
