Hints: Game Hints From EA
1. When a defense looks prepared for your current play, just use a quick audible to regain the upper hand.
2. While playing through the Madden Test, try to be patient. Hurrying through the drills will cause your Madden IQ to suffer.
3. Use Formation Subs in certain situations to bring a new player into the game. That backup player just might have the skills needed for the current play.
4. Playing Superstar as a Tight End gives you the best of both worlds, allowing you to play as a Lineman and a Wide Receiver.
5. It’s a good idea to use your EA Rewinds like timeouts, saving them for crucial situations.
6. Enter into endzone hotspots to trigger special player celebrations.
7. Calling a short yard FB run play with a backup RB is a good way to increase the odds that yards will be gained.
8. Read the Madden Moment description carefully, sometimes a FG is good enough to complete the Moment.
9. Remember to utilize the Field Goal Block Return play whenever a long FG is attempted.
10. Importing your Fantasy Football Team from your Fantasy League gives you the chance to test your team’s mettle on the field.
11. Use the stiff arm special move to break more tackles with the ball carrier.
12. Using an All Madden or Fantasy Drafted created team will give you the advantage when playing in Franchise or against a friend.
13. When punting is not an option, use the QB Sneak play to push for those last couple of yards in short yardage situations.
14. When a play doesn’t go the way you planned, don’t hesitate. Use EA Rewind to try it over again.
15. Utilize the Player HUB to see what part of the game your friends are currently playing in.
16. Use the Player HUB to send game invites as well as Online league invites.
17. Talk is cheap. Create custom Online Leagues with your friends to see who is truly the best at Madden.
18. Use EA Sports World to help track your accomplishments in all game modes.
19. When playing multi-player games, make sure to use the Bluff Play selection to hide from your opponent which play you are about to run.
20. Create new offensive and defensive plays in NFL Head Coach 09 and import them into Madden. Your opponent won’t know what to expect!
21. Take advantage of the new tackle breaking system. Press a button or move the highlight stick while getting tackled to attempt to break out of it.
22. New to Madden? No problem. Use the Beginner Game Style for a simplified Madden experience.
23. Madden knows how good you are. When you finish a game, advance to the Virtual Trainer to improve your weaknesses.
24. Longing for the days of Maddens past? Play Madden 93 with the 20th Anniversary Collector’s Edition.
25. Pause no more! Access Instant Replay, Challenge Plays, and view stats without ever leaving the playcall screen.

If you want I better DE on your team. I suggest signing a OLB or ILB and go to edit player and switch his position to DE. A lot of times a 80 overall player will jump to about a 90 overal!

Easy low cap all star team
First make sure you have a pocket qb(antivince young), any high rbs no tackling, any wr that is not a break tackle or carry high ratings,any tight end with low tackle, same as tight end for ol, dl all have low catching, lb have low break tackle and carry ratings, and low catching cb(i know but it is the only way to do it for cbs),any ss and fs
make qb a ss then release and sign switch to qb. rb switch to mlb release and sign. wr switch to rb release and sign. te and ol switch to dt release and sign. dl switch to te release and sign. lb switch to rb release and sign. cb switch to wr release and sign. ss and fs switch to qb release and sign.
no way for k and p but you can also switch while resigning players(very useful) also next season go to my team then team info and press circle to clear cap penalties

How to sack the quarterback
Go to the formation 3-4 and pick engage 8 and then tap the right analog stick down twice and it will show defensive hot route and when he says hike it will automatically run you to the QB

Easier games.
While playing a game, press pause, go down to settings, then gameplay, go to "A.I.". put the "Human" settings all the way up on offense, special teams, and defense. then hit R2 to go to CPU and turn those settings all the way down on offence, defense and, special teams.

On madden in your franchise make a player that is 99. then trade him for some body you want. make sure the position is the closest to the position you want. if you want a qb your probally not goin to get it witha center its less value. also make the guy in te 30s and injury prone

How to block a punt
Go to gameplay settings, then go to penalties and turn offsides off. after that, when the cpu is punting, select a fast player then go to the side that has the least amount of players in the backfield(close to punter). then hold the left anolog stick down at the same time as x(boost). when they snap the ball, go strait for the punter then press triangle when close to block it and if you do block it, then pick the ball up and return it for a touchdown!

Create a player names Cody Bryant and make him 99 @ everything and ever single game you simulate with him in it he will throw for 400 yards and throw 5 touchdowns

Best rookie superstar
Go to the rosters and edit a rookies overall and save your changes and then you can select him at the hall of fame superstar and everything is the same

Defense
If you want to have a good pass defense use a quarter D and I recomend the steelers.If you want to have a good run defense you should use a 4-3.U can really use any team for that.Now of you want a balanced D you should use a 3-4 and again any team you want.

BLOCK FIELD GOAL
(this can only work when your NOT going against the cpu)to block the game winning field goal,sprint in when the kick meter is running on defense .You will not be called for offsides.

How to get a WR wide open for the touchdown
Pick a running play on first and second down. Then pick a play action with a WR going deep, and he'll be wide open just about every time

How to get safteys.
First go to game modes.Then select gameplay settings go down to penalty and turn off sides off.After that go back and save.Then go to play now pick a team in the coin toss if you win select kick.Then do a sgiub kick and aim the arrow to the left don't get any power also don't wait till it gets to full power then when it gets to the no power.Just do it quick.It will go to the one and try to tackle the player in between the 5 to the 15.Try to hold him to fourth down then if they punt, before the play run out to the outside(make sure your on the side were the defender is not blocking the punter)then run to the punter(you won't be able to pass the line of scrimege but just keep running until the punter says hike then run up and sack the punterfor a saftey.

Cheats
This is the cheat that lets you go super speed at the maine menu press L2,R2,X,triagle,square,and circle.

Spin move
While straining to keep going, but yet held by a defender, you can spin out of a tackle, even while your opponent has a hold of you. All you have to do is have a defender gain control of you, and then hold the spin button until you spin out of the tackle, and hopefully you'll see a lot of daylight in front of you!

Go to shotgun formation put annlog stick (or arrows) left and press X. Go up till you see hail marry and press square.And you will be doing that play.Throw it to r1 when hes deep.And he will most likely catch it for a good 30-70 yards.

Salary cap
One cheat is to go into dynasty or franchise then there will a mode where you can turn salary cap off
