A1: If it is the room with the two furnaces and the three lamps, you need to have full life, you can carefully collect life on the far right side by walking along the wall. Then make a bee line for the orange prize in the middle of the room. Collect it quickly and head to the back left side of the room. Turn around and kill furnace number one by repeatedly firing water into it. The arms will eventually fall off and then it will die. You'll see the second furnace can't come to your side of the room, so you should be able to kill it. Be careful to keep your eyes on the lamps too.
