More Easy Development Points
Set the difficulty to "Legendary" and start a pickup game. At the "Choose Rules" or "Play Game" menu, select "Choose Rules" and set it so that your team has 20 points and the computer has zero. Now, simply start the game and score once to win and earn 150 development points.

Fast Development Points
Go to Pick Up Game and set the points to "2". Once you score you get 50 development points which you can use to get create-a-player points. You get 50 points every game you win, so if you just keep doing a rematch with only 2 points you can get a lot of development points.

Self Styled NBA
If you finish NBA Challenge mode with a created baller, the game will ask you if you want to join an NBA team. If you pick a team to join, your created player will join as the teams 6th man. You will also have the option to use your team jersey in the "Edit Baller" menu. Each team can only have 1 extra player at a time.

Get Development Points Easily
Go to play it mode. Choose legendary difficulty, and pick your strong team against a weak one. Go to rules set the game to 50 points, and spot yourself 49 points. Get the ball at the jump ball, take one shot, win, and then you will automatically get 150 development points. Go to rematch, and keep repeating this trick to get lots of development points.

Unlocking Street Legends' prentices provide the type of tournament in Be A Legend mode:

Biggie Little and special trick move the Biggie Little: Clear the Foster Beach tournament (single elimination). This unlocks him in create a team.

Bonafide and special dunk move the Bonafide: Clear the Rucker Park tournament (single elimination). This unlocks him in create a team.

Stretch and special dunk move the Stretch: Clear the Soul In The Hole tournament (single elimination).

Dime and special trick move Droppin Dimes: Clear the Lincoln College tournament (best of three). This unlocks him in create a team.

Osmosis and special trick move The Oz: Clear the Mosswoood tournament (double elimination). This unlocks him in a create team.

Julius Erving (Dr. J): Clear the Legendary Challenge in Be A Legend mode. This is the final Boss, not a tournament.

# Easy reward points

Select "Pick Up Game", then choose the legend difficulty setting. Pick the team of your choice. Then, choose the "My Rules" option and set the "Points Up" to "20" on your side. You can do this by highlighting the section and pressing Right. You will now get 150 reward points each time by only scoring one point.

Go to the Street School and enter a new name. After finishing school (26 lessons) you will get 1,000 reward points. Repeat this as many times as desired. Just keep making new names (identities), then delete them after you get the 1,000 reward points. This is an easy way to get rewards or build up your created players.

In Be A Legend mode, start by focusing on the "Handles" and "Dunks" skills. This allows you to rack up a lot more trick points. In turn, you get more GB2s and much more development points. You can have a perfect baller in about 75/500 progress. It is possible to regularly get over 3,000,000 points per game, in turn getting an average of 675 to 700 development points for each victory.

During the game, always pocket your GameBreaker and use GB2s only. Your trick points are highly increased for this.

Always get at least four fakeouts (not tricks), before each point. Throw the ball off their head, then pull three different 3-button fakeouts before attempting a basket.

# Easy pick-up game wins

In the pick-up games, the CPU randomly picks from the available no name players. If you go to "Create Player" and create a lot of players with 0/5 for all stats, you will have a good chance of playing a team that has a player with no stat points, making the game a little easier to win.

# Easy GameBreaker

Do Off The Wheezy five times then dunk when you have a GameBreaker. After you pocket it, you well automatically gain your second GameBreaker.

# GameBreakers

When you get a GameBreaker, pocket it by pressing Up. Your next GameBreaker will be Vol. 2. This deducts three points from your opponent when you take a 1 pointer.

# Easy three pointers

Start a new "Be A Legend" mode game. There will be a list of characters to choose from. One of them will be named "Eddie" (light blue jacket with white striped sleeves, backward red baseball cap). As you can see, his shots are only two blocks filled. When you play with him in any game and go to the three point line, the dot in the middle of the player indicator (red circle) will be red, meaning that the shot is out of his range. However, the shot will go in, maybe even be a swisher, about 75% of the time.

To do a player's signature move with the ball, press L1 + L2 + R1 and Circle (dunk) or Square (trick move). Note: You can also do a fakeout move while running with the ball.
