Description: Where you must survive for set time use this trick during a match. At the start, dodge left or right to avoid their 1st attack, then immediately counter with a blast attack which will knock them down. If your timing is good, you can continuously send blast after blast at them so that when they get up, they go back down. If you run low on energy just charge very briefly as the CPU gets up quickly.

How to: First equip Ultimate Gohan with Speed +6 & Attack +6. If you are fighting a smaller character like Krillan or Goten, a full 7-hit combo does around 3,600 damage. If you are fighting sum1 very tough like Cooler, Bojack, or Broly the damage will reset because of the fact they are so tough. You will do around 2,600 damage.
If you press Square(4), X, then Square a few more times, the attack damage will almost triple Gohan Ultimate's regular 7-hit combo damage. The regular finishing move does 15,500 damage and his ultimate attack does 245,000 damage.

Wishes
Description: Get all 7 Dragonballs in Battle Gate mode to make a wish. You will be able to wish for Password mode and Story "True World Tournament".

Finding Dragonballs
Description: During Battle Gate fights, Dragonballs are found within mountains and islands. You must destroy them by dashing through them or knocking your opponent through it. You must then descend to the ball and "walk" into it. You must win the fight as well.

To win easily, just press Square then X. You will punch, then deliver a heavy blow leaving your opponent defenseless for a short time. *** Sometimes very good fighters, for example Android #15 or #12 in Ultimate Battle mode, will break this combo. Try increasing the speed stat on your character's Evolution Z to help. If your character is fast enough and your opponent is a big character that will not be affected by normal punches and kicks or normal Ki blasts, you can land up to one attack from your character's full combo ability with the maximum being about 5. Then press X. You can get 99 hits if you are good enough. It will actually be rising the damage but the count does not go past 99.

Easy World Tournament win
How to: Select a character with high speed dash or a similar move. At the beginning of a tournament fight, dash toward the opponent, attack a few times tod knock them back. When they are near the edge of the ring, do high speed dash. As soon as you finish the attack, hit them with Ki blasts. Their feet will instantly touch the ground allowing you to win easily.

Play as Chiaotzu. Rush at your opponent, then do 4 regular attacks followed by 4 Ki blasts attacks. Your opponent will just fall off the stage and you will not lose any health if done quicky enough.

Description: When playing as Super Saiyan 4 Goku, instead of using just 10x Kamehameha use the following combo.

How to: Increase to maximum power and have 3 favorite technique bars full. When you are at maximum power, find a good time to attack your opponent (for example, when they run away to charge or when they are close to you). Use Instantaneous Transmission (L2 + Circle) to warp behind your opponent. As soon as you are behind your opponent, press L2 + Down + Circle to use 10x Kamehameha to hit your opponent from behind. This attack is not stronger than the regular 10x Kamehameha, but it is harder for your opponent to dodge.

Dragonballs Dragonballs
Fight in Z Battle Gate at Kami's Lookout. Play as Krillin vs. Yamcha for example. During the fight get the main building between you and the enemy. You will destroy it when you fire your finishing move. Now go over & look in the rubble. There will be a column stump remaining in the middle with a Dragonball on top for easy taking. It can roll off so if it is not on top then it is somewhere on the ground. Quickly grab it and make sure you defeat your opponent or you will have to get the Dragonball all over again. All 7 Dragonballs will randomly appear one at a time at this location. Fight in the level 7 times to get a wish from Shenron. This is very useful, as every time you get a Dragonball and complete the level, you will also get another Z Item Fusion, which are valuable, and a random Z item. You can repeat if you want.

In Story mode, select the Buu Saga and look for the place on top of Kami's lookout (SSJ3 Goten vs. Super Buu). During the fight, destroy the main building on top of Kami's tower. There will be a Dragonball in the rubble every time. You can repeat if you want.
You must successfully complete the challenge each time to receive the Dragonball at the end of the match.

Go to the fight with Chiaotzu vs. Guldo. Burst through the few islands in the stage and locate the Dragonball by using your radar. Defeat Guldo who is not much of a challenge. Repeat this to get all the Dragonballs.

Go to the Saiyan Saga and get to the place were you must defeat Krillan with Yamcha or vice versa. Go to the building in the middle of the look out or the biggest building. Destroy it and get the Dragonball there. Defeat the enemy and you will get the Dragonball at the end. You can repeat if you want to randomly get different Dragonballs.

Go to Sayain Saga and Krillin vs. Yamcha. Blow up the big building and get the Dragon Ball, then win. Repeat this a total of 7 times.

When fighting Super Buu in Buu Saga with SSJ3 Gotenks, the Dragon Ball is inside of the lookout house. Get the Dragon Ball and defeat Buu with the super move. Repeat this until you have all 7 Dragon Balls. Keep doing this and you will unlock everything that requires a wish to obtain.

# Master Skills

Unlock all characters, then start Ultimate Battle mode on the Normal difficulty setting. Select "Practice", then defeat ten consecutive characters. This will unlock the Dragon Power Purple Potara. Defeat twenty consecutive characters to unlock the Miracle Purple Potara. Fuse the Miracle and Dragon Power Purple Potaras to get Master Skills.

Select Ultimate Battle mode. Choose the 100 top rankings (not the practice one). Select any character (SSJ4 Gogeta recommended). Fight your way to the top 100. You will face the regular Goku at the number one spot. Once you defeat him, an item Master Skills will be awarded. This will not be easy. During certain battles, intruders and challengers will appear.

Win the Cell games. Note: If you have the great ape, use him. When he gets hit by a finishing move or super finishing move, he does not take a lot of damage.

# Wishes

Get all seven Dragonballs in Battle Gate mode to make a wish. You will be able to wish for Password mode and Story "True World Tournament".

# Finding Dragonballs

Dragonballs are found within mountains and islands during Battle Gate fights. You must destroy them by dashing through them or knocking your opponent through it. You must then descend to the ball and "walk" into it you must also win the fight.

# Easy Dragonballs

Fight in level in Z Battle Gate at Kami's Lookout. For example, play as Krillin vs. Yamcha. During the fight, go over to the main building and put it between you and the enemy. When you fire your finishing move, you will destroy the building. Go over and look at the rubble. There will be a column stump remaining in the middle, and a Dragonball on top of it. It does roll off -- if it is not on top, then it is somewhere on the ground. Quickly grab it and make sure you defeat your opponent, or you will have to get the Dragonball all over again. All seven Dragonballs will appear one at a time at this location randomly. Just fight in the level seven times to get a wish from Shenron. This is very useful, as every time you get a Dragonball and complete the level, you will also get another Z Item Fusion, which are valuable, and a random Z item. Do this as many times as desired.

In Story mode, select the Buu Saga and look for the level that takes place on top of Kami's lookout (SSJ3 Goten vs. Super Buu). During the fight, destroy the main building on top of Kami's tower. There will be a Dragonball in the rubble every time. Repeat this as many times as desired. Note: You must successfully complete the challenge each time in order to receive the Dragonball at the end of the match (for example, finishing off Super Buu with the Volleyball attack).

Go to the fight with Chiaotzu vs. Guldo. Burst through the few islands in the stage and locate the Dragonball by using your radar. Then, defeat Guldo. He is not much of a challenge. Repeat this to get all the Dragonballs.

Go to the Saiyan Saga and get to the part were you must defeat Krillan with Yamcha or vice versa. Go to the building in the middle of the look out (the biggest one). Destroy it and get the Dragonball there. Defeat the enemy and you will get the Dragonball at the end. Do this seven times (always a different Dragonball) to get all of them.

Go to Sayain Saga and Krillin vs. Yamcha. Blow up the big building and get the Dragon Ball, then win. Repeat this a total of seven times.

When fighting Super Buu in Buu Saga with SSJ3 Gotenks, the Dragon Ball is inside of the lookout house. Get the Dragon Ball and defeat Buu with the super move. Repeat this until you have all seven Dragon Balls. Keep doing this and you will unlock everything that requires a wish to obtain.

# Easy wins

To win easily, just press Square then X. You will punch, then deliver a heavy blow leaving your opponent defenseless for a short time. Note: Sometimes very good fighters, for example Android #15 or #12 in Ultimate Battle mode, will break this combo. If your character is fast enough (try increasing the speed stat on your character's Evolution Z to help) and your opponent is a big character that will not be affected by normal punches and kicks or normal Ki blasts, you can land up to one attack from your character's full combo ability (the maximum is about five), then press X. You can get 99 hits if you are skilled enough. It will not count any more after that, but the damage will still be rising.

# Easy World Tournament win

Select a character with high speed dash or a move that works similar to it. At the start of a tournament fight, dash toward the opponent, attack a few times, and knock them back. When they are near the edge of the ring, do high speed dash. As soon as you finish the attack, hit them with Ki blasts. Their feet will instantly touch the ground allowing you to win easily. Additionally, play as Chiaotzu. Rush at your opponent, then do four regular attacks followed by four Ki attacks. If done fast enough, your opponent will just fall off the stage and you will not lose any health.

# Survival battles

Use the following trick during a match that you must survive for the time given. Usually at the beginning of the match, dodge left or right to avoid their first attack, then immediately counter with a blast attack (large energy ball) which will knock them down. With good timing, you can continuously send blast after blast at them so that when they get up, they go back down. If you run low on energy, charge very briefly as the CPU tends to get up quickly.

# Z item fusions

The following Z items can be created by fusing the indicated items:

# Stronger Ultimate Gohan

Equip Ultimate Gohan with Speed +6 and Attack +6. If you are fighting a smaller character such as Krillan or Goten, a full 7-hit combo does about 3,600 damage. However if you are fighting someone very tough such as Bojack, Broly, or Cooler, the damage will reset because of the fact they are so tough. You will do about 2,600 damage. Also, if you press Square about four times, X, then Square a few more times, the attack damage will almost triple Gohan Ultimate's regular 7-hit combo damage. The regular finishing move does 15,500 damage and his ultimate attack does 245,000 damage.

# Strong combo

This trick only works on weaker enemies. First do four normal attacks, then do a stun with dash and repeat. If done correctly, it can result in a 75 or greater combo.

# SS4 Goku combo

While playing as Super Saiyan 4 Goku, instead of using just 10x Kamehameha use the following combo. Increase to maximum power and have three favorite technique bars full. When you are at maximum power, find a good time to attack your opponent (for example, when they run away to charge or when they are close to you). Use Instantaneous Transmission (L2 + Circle) to warp behind your opponent. As soon as you are behind your opponent, press L2 + Down + Circle to use 10x Kamehameha to hit your opponent from behind. This attack is not stronger than the regular 10x Kamehameha, but it is harder for your opponent to dodge.

# Level up

Defeat Kid Buu in Story mode with Goku to get a level up.

# Defeating the Oozaru

In the first Oozaru mission (Saiyan Saga), you are supposed to survive. However, if desired you can actually win. Rush toward it, then press Attack(3), X to stun it momentarily. Repeat this as needed. You will not only survive, but will defeat the Oozaru.

# Misspelling

If you win any round with Mecha Freiza in the Cell games, it will instead read "Mehca Freiza". Additionally, select Vegito in the World Tournament. After you win a fight, the announcer will say "and the victor Vegito", however in the subtitles "Vegito" is spelled "Veggeto".

# Wrong name

When you fight with Master Roshi in Tournament mode, the tournament announcer instead calls him "Contestant Turtle Hermit". Additionally, when fighting with Tien in any mode, use Ki Blast cannon. When you do so, instead of saying "Ki Blast Cannon!", Tien says "Tri-Beam!", which is his super finishing move's name.

# Wrong subtitle

In Z Battle Gate, on the Super 17 gate when you defeat him, he says "I should have been able to absorb all that". However, the subtitle reads "I shouldn't have been able to absorb all that".

Fight Nappa with Chaoutzu and kill him without using Farewell Mr. Tien. Nappa will say "You almost gave me a scare", but the subtitles read " Kch...That was a lousy thing to do".

# Wrong voices

When Goku SSJ4 and Vegeta SSJ4 fight, if Goku wins he speaks in Japanese instead of English at the end of the match.

When fighting Super Saiyan Trunks (with the tied back hair) and he executes a Finish Buster, he says it in Japanese, similar to Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Battle 22.

When using Long Haired Trunks, do his Burning Attack move. His voice will change to Japanese.

In COM vs. COM mode, if SSJ4 Goku fights and wins against SSJ4 Vegeta he will speak in Japanese after the battle, even if the Japanese voices are turned off.

Easy way to defeat enemies quickly.
An easy way to defeat enemies is to dash to them,and to keep pressing the buttons Square+Square+square+X.Keep doing this until you have defeated the enemy.

How to unlock kid Goku.
Once you have seven Dragonballs,shenron will automatically appear.When he asks what is your wish is select Kid Goku,and that's pretty much all there is to it.

Short cuts in ultimate battle
Ok when your in ultimate battle, be a very good charecter ( such as
kid buu, gogeta ss4/ss, kid goku, ect. ) and once you reach rank 95-97
a guy on rank 89-91 will challenge you, say YES and if you win you get five points and move up to the rank you just fought. it will happen every 9-11 matches.

Guldo
Guldo runs away and shoots you with those ki balls so hold down L2 and press X while still holding down L2 and attack away also guldo hits you a couple times then stick out his tummy and it looks like glass breaking to avoid that when he is about to us it press the X and the direction away from him and tada you will beat guldo with this

Tips
The average problem in Z battle gate is kid buu. ( I just beat them like 2 months ago )
so against kid buu do this/these to win!:

ss3 GOKU v.s. kid buu=
when you first start out use a ki move ( if can ) then when hes on the ground dash torwards him and when he gets up punch him 3-5 times then press X and the when hes stunned press X and up
and when hes flying, charge energy and use another move and then do every thing over and over again!

ss2 vegeta v.s. kid buu=
ok this is a HARD lvl so do the ss3 goku thing once or twice and then dash AWAY
and charge up then use a ki move ( fineshing move ) and charge while hes on the ground and when he gets up. . . . do it again! NOTE: if he using full power energy wave or super kamehameha use a blast move ( no volleys or rushes or explotive waves! )

hurecluel v.s. kid buu=
ok this one is easyer but still hard. there is 2 ways to do it so do one of these. 1. when you frist start out start charging if he does super kamehameha or the blast wave dash to the side and use either present bomb or hercule untra dinamic punch and while hes on the ground charge up and when he gets up. . . . . . do it again! 2. when you start out charge up and intead if he just rushes at you use dinamic pounch or present bomb and when hes dow- eh- you know what to do. NOTE: if he just starts charging DONT use dinamic punch or present bomb! he will start rushing at you for that!

majin buu (*chubby*) v.s. kid buu=
this is another survival so do this: ( 2 ways ) 1. if he rushes at you or starts charging just either use a ki move or charge back at him at do the punch X2-5 + X or and then when hes on the ground charge up and kill him ( over exagerating! if you kill him you lose! remember survival match! not kill buu time! ) 2. when you start start charging and use super kamehameha ( especialy if he uses one! ) and then keep charging and when. . . he. . . ( yawn ) gets up do it again! ( if he starts getting a punching spree on u= BAD! after a few punches press O and block them then do the combo I taught you [] X3 + X then blast him! )

ok last one!

GOKU v.s. KID BUU!=
go full on from the start! this is a " finish with spiritbomb " one so go full on until he has yellow or red health. dash away and charge up and use SPIRIT BOMB! DA Da daaaaaa!
NOTE: dont let him use sleep over 2 times! because why you ask, IT RECHARGES HIS HEALTH!

Ok I promised tips on great ape so here they are:

pioclo v.s. great ape=
just go full on! great apes are slow, but buff so use losts of ki moves.

GOKU v.s. GREAT APE VEGETA!=
when you first start out use kamehameha and nock him down and charge a LITTLE BIT and when he gets up hold down triangle for about 1 sec and use a charged up ki blast. that should nock him down again and keep using mega/charged ki blasts!

GREAT APE v.s. GREAT APE VEGETA! DA Da daaaaaa!=
just when you start out go up to vegeta and punch punch punch then mega ki ( these are big rocks )
and then dash away. and when your NOT TO FAR AWAY you can use giant rock throw and when hes on the ground charge up and when he gets up. . . . . . . . . . ( breating break. breath in... breath out... ) DO IT AGAIN!

ive beaten the whole game and I think there my top ten charectors! so you can use those guys and anialate your friends ( learned from exp. )

Easy kill with ss4 goku
Ok to kill a guy EASILY with ss4 goku do this. . . :

when you start lock on to your oponent,
then once you have locked on start chargin power,
if he starts rushing at u, you should have enough power for explosive wave, if not simply use his blast volley a few times,
once they have yellow health wait until you have 3 whole favorite technike dots full. charge up to full power ( full blue power )
and then use intanois-bla transmition then you should be right behind your oponent and then use kamehameha X10 and you should kill him.

( Note: if you cant get your X10, keep using blast volley and explosive wave. )

It really works! I beat ss4 vegeta, reg gogeta, and ss4 gogeta on very hard dificulty

SUPER SPIRITBOMB
FIRST Be normal Goku then chose an oponent (supergogeta ss4 best)then do a few kicks
and punchs then blow them away and have three circils filled then go into max power then
press o up l2 and you will go into keon-ken wi'll in max power mode and k-k then press
L2 triangl down and u'll use SUPER SPIRITBOMB!
p.s. it won't say super spirit bomb.

How to win survival matches
Ok when I first started I had a hard time beating survival matches,
but I beat the whole Z battle gate with these tips I mad up.
i have two ways to beat it.

1: right when you start, use one of your finishing moves ( if you can )
then when there on the ground dash up to them, and when they get up punch them 3 times then press X. keep doing that. ( also after you do it about 5 times it will start countering it so you can do your X, up,
move and take some time )

2: when you start out use your finishing move, when there on the ground start charging extra power. then right when they get up use another one. keep doing that and your sure to win!

NOTE: MAKE SURE YOU BE CAREFUL! U MAY KILL THEM IF U GO TOO HARD!
