Shot some pretty big ones and it says mission failed every time. | | | A1: You must not be shooting the right animal. | A2: The best way to handle all of the Legend missions is to scout the entire population before taking the first shot. It can be time consuming, but just keep track of which animal is where, and form a mental picture of each. Don't just fire in guns blazing just because it may have 15 points. Patience. | A3: He "legend" animal is almost always by itself at the beginning of the misson | A4: When you killed the other deer it will say mission failed, but when you shoot the big one it won't say anything it will give its points and body weight.
Good Luck! | A5: OK like mentioned before, it's by itself, but I found that it's pretty much a coward. It has bighorns for protection, so lock on aim's out. It's, um, when you go to the part where you have to climb the rocks and you get to choose to go left or right, go left. It's near the giant rock thing which you have to bypass to head towards the small creek. Then it's a matter of locating the biggest buck. The real trick to taking a trophy buck are the antlers. Usually there will be a few that have big antlers, look at them closely. Don't go for the buck with the biggest antlers, go for the one that has the most tines on the antlers. That is the buck you look for in trophy hunts. | A7: Don't shoot the black bucks either the trophy isn't melanistic, it also may be with other deer, and bighorn sheep alot, scout an area, and make a mental note of the biggest bucks you see and find the biggest one, look for a big body too. | | |
