HAPPY HUNTS! | A7: I know everyone is having a hard time on mission 15, the javelina one. I definitely had a hard time, until I figured out that you CANNOT use the javelina call or you will fail it. Just wait until it is pretty close and shoot it. Another thing, it does not matter if you don't kill it in one shot, as long as you do EXACTLY what it says and don't use the call, it should work out. I beat the whole game, but that mission sure took me awhile to beat. | A8: I stripped down to the bare minimums on this challenge. GPS, 357 with scope, range finder and ground blind. NOTHING ELSE - no scent cover or lures...
Pay attention to the requirements at the start they switch between ground blind and 40 yards challenge to start.
I did three things - you HAVE to shoot the animal in the HEAD, WITHOUT using the autoaim. I used the x-ray scope and shot both animals within 20 yards. Also, once you set up the blind - DO NOT MOVE IT. I beleive once it's set up, that's it. So pick your location carefully, I found in the hollow near the river about mid-way across the map.
These three things seemed to work. It took me close to 25 tries to win this challenge.
