| Q: How do yoy reel in king salmon? | | | A1: The best thing is to set your drag on 3 (to avoid snapping the line 2 will result in fish off-hook especially when near the boat). Keep the rod up as much as possible. If the line has too much tension let the rod go forward a little. Mash the hell outta the L2 Button when the fish is close to the boat and keep the rod up. Ignore the guide (he is sometimes laggin behind the actual action telling you to go left way after the fish has changed direction-I'm trying to find the button to toss his ass out of the boat!). Sometimes it takes a bit of patience for salmon because they run way out several times, but hang in there, he'll get tired eventualy. Good Luck!
