When you look out your window, you can see the phone number of a
restaurant. You can use the phone to call that number for fun.

Submachine gun
Win the game with a rank of at least 9 big stars.
Start a game in "Brand New Fear" mode and look in Room 202 in the
Apartment World to find a submachine gun for Eileen.
Alternate Eileen costume:
Start a game in "Brand New Fear" mode. Continue until the "Outside
of Room 302" part of the game. Enter Room 303 and search it for
Eileen's nurse costume. Collect it and win the game. When you
start a new game, you can now have Eileen dressed as a nurse.

Alternate Cynthia costume
Unlock all 4 endings and Eileen's alternate costume/outfit on a single
game save. Start a new game and select Eileen's nurse costume.
Cynthia will wear her alternate costume.

Radio clues
Notice the suspicious radio in Henry's living room. At certain parts
throughout the game, you will be able to listen to certain
broadcasts. Listen to them carefully as they will be part of the
story and clue you into what is going on. After you finish the
subway, take out the chocolate milk and keep it in your inventory;
then save and restart. When you reload, look through the front door
peephole then go to the radio for a broadcast from Washington. They
will talk about a 3 year old boy.

Brand New Fear mode
Win the game under any difficulty. Save the game
after the credits complete to unlock the "Brand New Fear" option .
One Weapon mode:
Win the game with a rank of 10 big stars.

Chainsaw
Start a game in "Brand New Fear" mode. After entering the Forest
World for the 1st time go to Jasper's car. Search near by for a
cut tree trunk. Look next to it to find the chainsaw.

Meet Nurse Lisa at Artaud Theater (Silent Hill: Origins)
Actually this is the hint for Silent Hill: Origins (not for Silent Hill 4: the room).

Meet Nurse Lisa at Artaud Theater (Silent Hill: Origins)

Normally, we meet Nurse Lisa at Artaud Theater only once, there is in the auditorium. But actually we can meet her twice. Here is the way to meet her again:

First, you must have MetalGearSolid3: Snake Eater data in the same memory card and you have to shoot at least seven green toad rubber dolls.

Second, at the final battle (save Alessa) you must have Room 502 key, Balcony key, and Moon Totem in your inventory. It means, you have to collect those items but do not use that! Save those items in your inventory until the end of the game.

Third, see through the pipe hole in the maintenance room (River Side Motel). When you see Lisa's red jacket and you can hear her voice and Dr Kaufmann voice while they're having fun with "White Powder" in the Rose Suite, enter the KONAMI code until you hear "beep" (UUDDLRLRXO)

Finish the game and save it. Load the game again. When you arrive at Artaud Theater, you meet Lisa at the first time in the Auditorium. After that, when you go to Stage Office, the room is not locked. Enter that room and you'll meet her again for the twice. She'll hug Travis so tight and her body so fragrant, Travis can feels that. She tells you about anything and bla...bla...bla... (I mean she talks too much)

Flauros Puzzle (Silent Hill Origins)
This is the hint for Silent Hill Origins (PS2) not for Silent Hill 4 The Room

Dizzy by Flauros? Here, I'll tell you the hint.
When you enter the "Flauros Menu" you can not do anything, right? You can't save the game and you can't exit from the "Flauros Menu". All you can do is finish the puzzle. Follow this step:

1. When you enter the "Flauros Menu" you'll see 5 pieces of the Flauros. The Present piece is the big one and the other 4 are small, they are (from left to right order): Future piece (F), Past piece (P), Falsehood (FH) and Truth piece (T). When you see that do not press any button.

2. Press [X] button then choose FH. Press [PS2 Cheat by:quare] twice then press [R1]
3. Press [X] button then choose F. Press [PS2 Cheat by:quare] twice then press [R1]
4. Press [X] button then choose P. Press [PS2 Cheat by:quare] twice then press [R1]
5. Press [X] button then choose T. Press [PS2 Cheat by:quare]

You'll see the ornament of the Flauros is matching. After that Alessa will free.

Make way for the 'LIGHT'...
Here's what u'll have to do to ensure d light from d 3rd floor reaches d kitchen...:
1. Turn d handle on d 4th floor which will then cause d water to flow to lower floors.
2. In basement 2 (waterwheel located), you must ensure that d water falls onto d wheel only from one source! But if d water falls from two different sources, d sources must not oppose one another.
3. Go to each floor & find out which doors that are LOCKED. Some rooms have holes that you can jump into it.
4. Bare in mind that d 1st floor is fixed & can't be rotated. There r a total of 3 holes fixed on d 1st floor that leads to the SHOWER, DINING HALL & KITCHEN. Do I've to tell you to go for which hole?
5. On d 3rd floor, there r a total of 3 holes as well as d 1st floor has.
6. Rotate d 3rd floor & aim for d LOCKED doors/rooms on d 2nd floor. When you r trapped in a locked room on 2nd floor, u'll discover a new hole leading towards d 1st floor. I've discovered 5 holes on d 2nd floor...
7. Finally when you jumped into d kitchen, d light from d 3rd floor will help you to see d key pad more clearer.

Also, whenever you return to your apartment, you will find six boxes of bullets in the laundry room as well as ten Health Drinks in your refrigerator.

# Guns

The use of guns is not necessary. It is quite easy to use melee weapons throughout the game. Also, using guns on ghosts prove ineffective unless the bullets are silver.

# Batting practice

When remaining idle with the aluminum bat is equipped, Henry will begin to practice his swing.

# Saint Necklace

Wearing the Saint Necklace, it has two usesl to keep your "ghost sense" from causing actual damage, and to actually exorcise spirits from your apartment. When wearing it in any other world besides the apartment, the screen will do its usual haziness when ghosts appear, but nothing more until the necklace breaks. Keep in mind that the necklace will break if you are confronted by ghosts for too long. Wearing the necklace and running to a possessed area of your apartment will cause the spirit to fight back, but if the necklace is not already broken, the spirit will lose and disappear. Keep in mind that you must have your apartment completely exorcised for the good endings.

# Sword Of Obedience

There is no need to waste a sword if you are just entering areas for items. Instead, knock the ghost down and stab it with the sword, get what you need, and take the sword back. After taking the blade out, you have five to seven seconds to leave without your "ghost sense" ringing out.

# The Man's Doll

When a strange man places the doll on the stairway, do not take it. It actually makes things worse for you afterwards. If you place it in your storage box, babies will appear above the box, making it difficult to check your items. Your only choice would be to hold it in your inventory, but it requires a slot that you may need.

# Mannequin body parts

When you enter the forest for the second time, go to the corner with the torch. Take the torch and take it to your laundry room in your apartment. Use the oil found on the workbench inside there on the torch. When you return, you may light it when you approach the other torches pressing X. This is used to see down each well that happens to be in each corner of the map. Be cautious however -- if you use the torch to attack or unequip it, it will go out. This causes you to turn back to light it. Killing all of the enemies first and running from the man chasing you is recommended.

# Midwhich Elementary school bus

When looking out of your window during the day, you will notice a school bus. If you look close enough, you will notice it is A Midwhich Elementary school bus. This is a reference to the original Silent Hill, where it is the school in which you visit within the first thirty minutes of the game.

# Ghost Cynthia and the candle

Unlike most ghosts, if a candle is placed in front of the ghost Cynthia, she will stand in place and scream as her hair begins to float in every other direction. Other ghosts simply fall.

# Eileen's behavior

When you are about in the building world for the second time, sometimes Eileen will act like the little kid and at other times act as if being attacked by a demon or act like a demon. Note: If you are near Eileen when she acts like a demon, it will affect you health.

# Eileen's damage

If you allow Eileen to take enough damage, her appearance will change for the worst, and she will walk faster towards the pool in the final battle.

# Eileen's Special Gift

Once you get to the wish house, after it has burnt down the mysterious writing in blood can be read aloud by Eileen. After some adjusting she will say "Okay...here goes..." and read the words.

# Endings

To get different types of endings, you must do one of four things. Either clear your apartment of ghosts before the final battle, or do not and let Eileen die or not. These two course of actions create four different endings.

Pyramid Head reference
On the cracked wall where you look in Eileens room. Take a good close look at it and you will see that the shape resembles Pyramid Head from Silent Hill 2.

UFO ending in Silent Hill 4?
I've heard rumours that a UFO ending is in SH4 by completing the game 4 times, getting all 4 endings then use the eileens nurse costume for the fifth time you play and before the ending of the game, keep hold of 'triangle+sqaure' to so-called see a special UFO Ending. I tried it but it didn't work so you should try it to see if it will work for you.

This is just a rumour but i've found something even more interesting. I have got the 'Xploder' (what ever it's called) cheats disk that can unlock every item in the game and weapon. Well, in the items menu there's a name that goes under 'Channelling stone' which we know was the key item to get the UFO Ending in SH1 and there was other strange things like 'dirty stone' 'Japanese box' 'white box' and more.

Well, I tried the channelling stone cheat and it worked! It gave me the Channelling stone at the beginning of the game. When I viewed it, it said 'A mysterious stome imbued with a strange power'

So yes, there is a Channelling stone somewhere in SH4 and could be a UFO Ending in there somewhere aswell (not that i'll find it because I have no idea where to look). One last thing, the stone looked almost like the one out of the first SH.
