Unlockable: Endings
Good Ending: Win the game without killing allies.
Bad Ending: Defeat the Item God on the 100th floor of a legendary item.
Dark Assembly: Persuade by Force 100 times in the Dark Assembly.
Normal Ending: Don’t complete the requirements for
Etna Heroine: Kill 100 or more allies before Episode 5's Ice Queen battle then
choose to kill Maderas.
Flonne Tragedy: Kill 50 or more allies before Episode 3 and the Lavish Hall
battle. Choose to Kill Hoggmeiser.
Mid-Boss: Loose to Mid-Boss in episode 1, 4, 6, or 10. the good, Bad, or dark
assembly endings listed here.
Overthrow Earth: Clear human world.

How to level up faster
Once you open up the area "Cave of Ordeals". Go through it until you reach the
3rd area. Here you will find 3x3 rows of enemies and the field has a "Exp 50%"
Geo panel on it. If you can use a 3x3 attack to kill all the enemies in this
stage in one swoop, your character will level up insane amounts. You can take a
level 1 character to level 200 if they have a high enough attack. Also be warned
that the enemies in this stage have high defense, either bring out other members
to weaken the monsters up or you can have one warrior bravehearted by a team of
mages.

Unlockable: New Game Bonus
After beating the game, wait through the credits and save at the end. You can
then start a new game will all of your old state and characters.
Unlockable: Etna`s Diary
First, press the switch behind the throne. Second, press the switch inside the
skull on the shop desk. Last, go in the corner of the main hallway (the only
room that has 2 sets of stairs.) and press the X button. Then Etna will say
she needs to go to the bathroom. You will yhen get a chance to read her diary.

Gaining More Experience
If you want to level up faster, just throw your enemies into each other, so they
will combine into bigger enemies who are worth more experience points.

Strong enemies becomes strong good allies!
(you must have strong characters in order to do this) lift an enemy (make sure it is near the base panel!) and throw it into the base panel and it will be captured!(warning! if you don't have strong characters or the enemy you are catching is higher than the level of those who are inside they will die! and one more thing, characters included in the story like Mid-boss, Lamington, Vulcanus, Maderas, Hogmeisser, Flonne, Priere, and Marjoly will not be captured even though you have stronger characters!)

Easy levels, cash, and items early on
This is a somewhat obvious expansion on what somebody else has added.

In the Jotunheim area there is a field where all but a single space is red with invincibility. The remaining square is green with no bonus.

The first thing you want to do here is gather all of the enemies into a single space in a somewhat open portion of the map. Bring out 10 characters and start wailing on the remaining enemy with group attacks. It will take a little bit, but your bonus gauge will hit 9. Then you send all but the character(s) you want to level back to the base portal, plus one additional character. In your levelling group there needs to be at least 1 person high enough to hit and DAMAGE the level 114(or higher) enemy you've created. Your remaining character should be a level 1 prinny.

Position your character(s - maximum of 3) adjacent to one another and have them team attack her to death. use the Prinny to block her escape from that space on the other side... you can also use it as an attack primer to get a bonus to your attack with your main group.

Disgaea: Hour of Darkness Cheats and Hints (PS2)
# Etna's diary

There are two hidden switches in the castle. One is behind the throne, and another is near the skull on the counter of the Rosenqueen shops. Flip both of them to allow access to Etna's diary, which is in the middle corner of the intermediate hallway between the throne room and the shops. If you visit this area consistently for each chapter, you will be rewarded with a Testament item in the final chapter.

# Get the most out of your turn

If you are trying to level all of your characters mainly by using team attacks, etc., move all your characters into position for a team attack. As long as none of them besides the initial attacker have not performed any actions, after the team attack you can move them back to their original locations and move them again. Repeat this as desired. This also works if your characters are just out of a healers range you can move them, heal them, then move them back into battle.

# Easy experience

In stage 5, level 3 (Terrible Cold), there is only one Geopanel that does not have the invincibility attribute. Combine all the enemies by throwing them into each other, making one high level enemy. Throw the enemy onto the Geopanel that is green. Trap him/her on the Geopanel without invincibility by surrounding him with your characters. Since all of your characters are on invincible panels you cannot be defeated, yet you can wear down the high-level enemy who is trapped on the non-invincible panel. This is a great way to jump 10 levels at once early in the game.

Get to the Jotunheim episode and go to Terrible Cold area. The entire map will be invincible except for one location. Throw all of the Sexy Demons together. This should get you about a level 114 Demon. After that, throw her all the way to the corner at the top of the map that has the "None" status and surround her, one on each side. It helps if your attack is at least 300 on each of the characters that are attacking. It also speeds the process if you bring one or two Mages with Brave Heart. Keep casting that on your characters every turn, as it is stackable. This trick is worth the time, and gains about four to six levels for each character in the team attack.

In episode 9, level 1, there are only nine enemies in the level. They are in a 3x3 block. Use Mage's 9 square attack or Laharl's Winged Slayer attack to hit all of them at the same time. For any that remain, use your lower characters to finish them off. You should be able to kill all the enemies on your first turn, so you never get hurt. This usually works when you are between level 20 and 45 to 50.

Unlockable :strong witch
(you must be ranked 12 in order to do this) go to the dark assemly and submit the proposal "the mysterious seal" then go to the gate and select "beauty castle" then finish it until beauty of evil finish that stage (be careful the witch is level 2500) kill all the enemies there and after that when you have cleared the stage she will join your party

Good level up
You must have a strong character and a weak caharacter (for the strong one it must be level 1395 or any other level and for the weak one level one may do) if the place Baal castle is alredy available in your map finish the dragons with level 1500 then after that there is the level 2000 dragon then lessen its life by using the strong character then get the weak character and attack it using the weak one but make sure it will launch two attacks or what you call team attack

The best item!!!
(you need a high leveled thief of any kind to do this) if the "baal castle" is available in the places where you can go finish it until the "lord o terror" you will find baal their (make sure you have an awsome hand with an item level of 30 or higher) steal baal's 'super robo suit" then equip it to a strong warrior now defeat baal without droping a sweat!

A nice weapon for brawlers
(other jobs can also have this) if you have cave of ordeals available in you map finish all the stages then you will get a weapon named "God fist"

First press the switch behind the throne , second press the switch in the skull near the shop.
