Oath Of The Peach Garden video
This is an intermission sequence where Liu Bei meets his 2 brothers, Guan Yu and Zhang Fei and gets help from Jian Yong to end the chaos. The only characters you can get this video with are Liu Bei, Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, and Jian Yong. It will appear when you play the 1st years.

Floods
Floods occur usually in the southern regions and sometimes in the east and the west. Floods can destroy or damage the gates and destroy many crops. Start your army in the area around the Central Plains unless you want to keep rebuilding it every 6 to twelve months.

Earthquakes
Earthquakes usually hit in the western regions around Xia Pi, Xiao Pei, etc. around Sun Jian's 1st capital. Earthquakes are not as bad as floods, but they inflict more damage to the gates. It is best to start in the Central Plains to avoid them.

Yellow Turban video
You will unlock this intermission sequence with all officers. Play the 1st years and it will appear as soon as you start.

Life Span Extensions option
Complete the Heroes Across Time scenario (scenario 9) to unlock the "Life Span Extensions" option.

Bow units are weak against foot units, but are strong against horse units; however, bow units are only effective when they attack horse units from a distance. At close range, the 2 units are even.
