Heat (in lieu of Roland)

To play as Heat a in the 2nd game, you have to make the correct choices through both games. If you choose to play as Heat in DDS2, the character of Roland will be replaced! It would be a good idea to make 2 saves if you want the option of both characters.
In your DDS1 game, in Coordinate 136 when Heat challenges you, answer "No, I can not..."

In Ajna after defeating Ravana answer "It doesn't matter."

Beat your DDS1 game and after the credits, save the cleared game. When you start a new game in DDS2, load the DDS1 clear data from your card.

In your DDS 2 game, after defeating Yaksa Abaddon answer, "We're Comrades".

After defeating the Real and Fake Varna, walk down the corridor to where Heat is waiting and answer, "I do..."

Hard Difficulty
Either by loading a clear save from the 1st Digital Devil Saga, or by
completing Digital Devil Saga 2 you can select your difficulty of either Normal
or Hard. Hard mode makes it harder to escape, (3/10ths the chance of normal
mode) enemies hit you for 1.5 times more damage, enemies have a 1.5 times higher
critical hit ratio, you hitting an enemie's weakness results in 2 times damage,
and allows you to face an extra secret boss.

Hard mode
Win the game in normal mode to unlock the hard mode difficulty.
Alternatively, load a saved game file from Digital Devil Saga: Avatar


Completion bonuses
Win the game in normal mode, then play again from your cleared
game file to keep your previously earned Mantra/Skill, Linkage and
Karma Ring. *** You cannot keep those bonuses if your 2nd
attempt is under a different difficulty.

Unlocking Heat
Inorder to unlock the characater Heat, you got to make the right choices through
out DDS 1 and 2.
Note that if you do choose to Unlock Heat in DDS2, Ronald would be replace
In DDS 1:
- When Heat decide to fight you in Coordinate 136, pick the 1st choice
- After defeating Varon Omega at Brute's Base, pick the 1st choice
Win the game, after the credit roll, save the game when it ask you to.
Start DDS2, when ask to load save from DDS1, load the clear data.
In DDS 2:
At the EGG factory, pick the 1st choice.
After defeating Vitra, pick the 1st choice.

Digital Devil Saga 2 SecretsNew Game
Finish the game once, and save your clear game file.
Load the clear game file and play again, but this time, you get to keep
previously earned Karma Ring, Mantra/Skill and Linkage.
