Note: An extremely well built AC converted from Armored Core 3. It
is good for both missions that require tanks and arena fights. The
KARASAWA gives good firepower and can be used as much as needed
since tanks do not use a lot of energy. The grenades are great AC
killers and of course do a lot of damage against targets such as
the big flying MT in the Test New Technology mission. It moves
slow, but overboosting in short bursts and the weapons themselves
can make up for that. It has over 9000 AP and an overall rating of
"Excellent".

Note: This is a very god AC. Though it is rated "Fair", it is a
very good mix of speed, strength, and defense. Its machine guns
act as quick fire weapons if you are on the run and its missiles
make up for what it loses in long range capabilities. Though the
machine guns seem weak, they are the best and most accurate weapon
if used correctly. This is a great AC for certain missions and for
most Arena challenges.
Note This is an elite AC. It boasts 9999 AP. It is used for the
Arena mostly, but can be used for some missions successfully. When
used, go to parking lot and hide behind a pillar. From there, duck
out, quickly fire off the linear cannon, then duck back in. It
requires moderate accuracy to use. It has 4217 defensive points
and 10148 offensive points. Note: If you do not have OP-INTENSIFY,
switch to a head with radar. You will lose the 9999 AP, but it
will still be in the high 9000s.

Note: This AC is extremely overweight and is only meant for the
Arena. An experienced pilot is recommended. It is slow, but very
powerful. There is an ample amount of ammunition. When you are out
of ammunition with a weapon, then drop it. It will make your AC

When you reach the most top level and enter, a box will be destroyed
by enemies. On the floor is the inside part KWL-RJ/60.
Hint: Prototype parts
If you use a certain type of leg part (light weight leg, middle
weight leg, hover, etc.) for enough missions, a "prototype" part
will be unlocked in the shop. The prototypes are usually good. This
may also be the case with other parts as well.
Hint: Safeguard Alloy Sample: Hidden part
Destroy all the enemy MTs and the AC Grinder. The Transport Truck
must survive to the Crest's Headquarters. After the mission ends,
you will receive new mail from Crest stating that you will get the
extension part booster CEBT-HEX.

Note: You must color the head detail after you do the pattern or
else it will just be smeared around. If you do not like Op-I,
change the head to have radar first, then you can put any parts
desired. This is one of the fastest middle weight ACs out there.
It is also a good flier and is very expandable.

Wait until the plane lands, then get behind the it. Shoot the back
end until the door explodes. Press Circle next to the part to get

Note: With the correct amount of speed, power, and the skill of a
veteran Raven, you can be unstoppable,. Shinobi has 7,110 AP and
has a grade of "Good". The R Back unit MWC-LQ/15 gives him a good
kick and the 800 round machine gun barely lets you run out of
ammunition. The Crow keeps ypu safe from most enemy locks. This
Core in the Arena is nearly unbeatable. Some enemies such as
Silver Fox could pose a threat, but you will eventually defeat
him.

Note Although this AC design is not one of the fastest, its high
AP of 9525, large store of missiles and ammunition, as well as
missile decoys to evade on-coming enemy missiles, make it a very
difficult opponent. Also, the Over Boost feature on the AC's core
make it very mobile in the hands of an experienced player. Though
not recommended for missions, considering the high cost of its
large missile salvos, it is an excellent Arena AC, and is able to
meet the challenge of all Arena participants. Using all of the
assets found on this particular AC is recommended, especially its
Over Boost (in short bursts), which it tends to rely on heavily
for improved mobility.

only available from Silent Line. For this AC to function
efficiently you must have enhanced cannon performance for
OP-Intensify. It would also improve its handling if you had
enhanced booster performance. This AC has 8754 AP, iss very fast,
and with its powerful booster you can easily dodge missiles fired
at you. The grenade cannon on its back does not have as slow a
fire rate as the more powerful grenade cannon, but still packs a
very nice punch for taking out tougher opponents. The slug gun on
the back does nice damage at close range and is added insurance
that you will hit the target. With this AC's extension you can
turn towards him a lot quicker, which helps in close range or if
someone is behind you. The machine gun on the right and left arms
are best used at the same time while boosting sideways so you have
better accuracy; they really strip the AP.

In a cave in the middle of the map is the extension part MWEM-R/36.
Note This core is an upgrade from its predecessor tank model from
Armored Core 3. It is the same as last time, except for more
boosting and defense. Again, keep the chain gun on the back left
so that the arm shield will not deactivate. The machine gun should
only be a back up weapon, and the DD/20 should only be used for
missiles. The core has so much defense that it can take the
punishment of the Titan arm weapons and the new Titan back weapons
and have left over AP.
Hint: Hydraulics
Get a robot with the tank wheels. Press X repeatedly and it appear
as if the robot has hydraulics.
Hint: Defend Solar Power Plant mission: Hidden Part
After you defeat all the enemies on the outside of the power plant,
you should get a notice about enemies inside the plant after you
enter. Clear the first floor. When you go down the ramp at the end
of the first part, you will see a fork. Go to the left. There should
be the part at the end of the room. The room is on fire. The hidden
part is the KWEL-EJ22 anti-missile.

Note: This AC is well balanced (not too mobile or too slow), and
has good weapons. This AC's left weapon is a dual energy laser. It
almost always hits other ACs in the Arena. This AC is good in the
Arena and some missions. You can keep this AC in air for a long
time, shooting with the machine gun in its right arm.
Hint: Big missile warning
Never use the big missile for the back unit with the extension for
vertical missiles; you will just blow up your missile when you
launch it
Hint: Easy Arena wins
Select the Trene City area. When the battle begins, there is a big
building directly in the middle of the Arena floor. Boost up to the
top of the building and pummel the opponent AC full of rockets or
other types of ammunition that can lock on. If you are unable to
boost up the entire way, there is a ledge halfway up. Rest there
momentarily, then boost the rest of the way. Weapons that are the
most effective are the small rockets and/or vertical missiles. There
are some enemies that are too fast to do this to; they move to much
to get a lock on. If this happens, when you start, boost West and
position yourself in between two buildings very close to the border.
Most of the enemy ACs will not go behind because they will lose.
They will just move back and forth trying to get a fix, but will not
approach you if you are very close to the border. Pop in and out
from behind the building and shoot various rockets and missiles as
the ACs are moving around. It is slightly time consuming, but a very
Take your opponent to the Arena stage. Have Hectos Rockets and the
left hand grenade launcher equipped. When the battle starts, start
stepping backwards, making sure not to turn or alter where the aimer
is pointed. Switch weapons to the Hectos Rockets and keep firing
those with the grenade launchers. The opponent will just follow your
steps, and will not move from the line of fire. If they get too
close, start to fight normally; they will have low AP at this point.
Hint - Top Secret Weapons
When you encounter the mission to protect the new shipment of weapons while the
plane is re-fueling, go near the plane when it lands near your Core. Go behind
the plane when it stops and take the gun. You will fail the mission but will
have the weapon.
Another hidden weapon is in the mission "Eliminate Rioters". At the end of this
mission you will run into an AC named Struggle. While in that room destroy the
boxes until you find the gun.
The hardest weapon to get is in the mission where you must destroy the prototype
base. In this mission you must sneak around without being seen. While you are
walking around Metal Gear style, find the crashed airplane wreck, then go west
from there to find a cave. The first thing you see inside is the weapon.

Find any mission that has an advance payment. Start the mission and
immediately abort it. After this is done, you will see your earnings
displayed in two boxes. One box is for your new money amount that
was earned and one for the deductions for repairs, ammunition, and
the special deduction in the event that something was destroyed that
was not supposed to. Note that there is no deduction, and you will
get the amount that was promised to you in advance. Make sure to
save your game before you do this, as the game will end if this is
done too many times.
Optional Parts: Opt-Intensify
Note: This is a mostly mission-based AC. Completing the game
before you use this AC is recommended, due to knowing what you are
up against in the sorties (missions). You have a fixed amount of
ammo; do not miss and you will be fine. The usage drain from
boosting is not too bad. The cooling is better. The only downfall
is when over shooting the Karasawa. Keep track of your booster
gauge, and when it gets too low, let off. It will regain very
quickly.
