Break Enemy Block
Use Kunoichi Hibana's DOWN + kick attack to hit opponents, even if they are blocking. Once their guard is broken you can continue with combo attacks.

Extra Mission Stages and Gallery
Beat any Story Mode mission to unlock it for stage select in Extra Mode. Beating a mission will also unlock the Gallery for those stages in Extra Mode.

Unlock Costumes/Outfits
Complete the following criteria to unlock costumes:

Hibana's 2nd: Win the game on Normal.
Hibana's 3rd: Win the game on Hard.
Hisui's 2nd: Get all 88 Clan Coins.

Hisui
Win the game under the easy difficulty setting.

Hotsuma
Insert a memory card with a saved completed game from Shinobi. Now, successfully win the game under the normal difficulty setting.

Alternate Hibana costumes/outfits
Win the game under the normal or hard difficulty settings. A different alternate costume/outfit will be unlocked under each setting.

Dagger Dance
Use daggers to attack. After you kill the enemy, Stealth Dash once, then attack. She will do the dagger attack again. Continue dashing and attacking and it will look like she is dancing.

Joe Musashi
Complete a total of eighty 8 missions in the game and collect the Secret Clan Coins.

Hints & Tips
Break all destructible items; you will find Chakra power-ups, Energy Capsules, and Bonus coins. You’ll find a Ration power up on every level, use it to increase your Energy Gauge so you can withstand damage attacks better. Your Dash attacks give you an advantage against every enemy. Use your dash move to attack your enemies from behind, this causes more damage then a front attack. Each level has 2 extra Ninjitsu scrolls which increase your Shinobi Magic to cast Ninjutsu spells. It’s a good idea to Always find the 2 scrolls before you reach the boss battle at the end of the stage to have more powerful attacks. And once you complete Normal mode you will unlock a new costume/outfit for Hibana. There are 3 unlockable secret characters. When you complete Easy Mode you will unlock Hisui the Shinobi of Water. Joe Musash is the Shinobi of Legend. He can throw an unlimited number of Shuriken and is unlocked once you complete Normal Mode. The final Secret Character is the Master of Obor, Hotsuma. To play as Hotsuma you will have to play through 88 stages in any combination of Story Mode, Time Attack Mode, Survival Mode or Mission Mode. Hotsuma has a powerful Slash attack and when you play through the game with him you have to defeat every enemy or your energy will drain. Each kill recharges his health. The quickest way to play though 88 stages is to enter Mission mode and replay Mission 05 again and again until you’ve cleared it 88 times. Mission 05 is one of the easiest and fastest missions to complete!

Alternate Hisui costume/outfit
Collect all 88 Secret Clan Coins in the game.

Stealth Dash Tate
Slap 4 or more enemies down. Lock on to last enemy or Boss then
Stealth Dash attack him. This is a good way to kill Boss 12.
